I have been dealing with Comanche county DHS since 2018, my nephew has been in foster care since that time. We use to have constant contact with him and now we don’t know what is going on with him. He has been in 4 different foster homes since 2018 he is 7 years old and we love him dearly. We have been trying to get him but Comanche county has made it very very hard. I have never in my life seen a county DHS office so rude and nasty and have no empathy for families. This office needs to be looked into because the people that works in them are not doing their jobs well.
I called your office this morning with questions about COVID testing. I believe I spoke with Tammy. She was wonderful!!! She took the time to answer my questions and even checked the schedule for cancellations. She acted like she had the time to speak with me. I KNOW you must be VERY busy, and it was nice to have such a pleasant experience. THANK YOU!!
My husband Jesse Smith and I have been in contact with your office since the birth of our niece August 4th. We have expressed great interest in fostering/adopting her as she has been placed in state care. Early on we had regular contact with her case worker but haven’t heard anything in 4 days despite numerous messages.
My ex husband who I presently am living with not a couple though came to your office and applied for benefits and got them. When he returned home I asked him if he told them that i was living here and paying the rent , he said he’ll no, I’m sorry but I don’t want to go to jail for welfare fraud. So Imgur I got him in. I make plenty enough money to take care of myself and have been footing the bill for rent and all groceries for the last two months. I told him I wasn’t supporting him any longer that’s when he applied for benefits
