I have called the DCF hotline countless times and sat on hold for 3+ hours EACH time and the call always fails before i ever get the chance to speak to someone. I LITERALLY need to speak to a human being in order to make changes to my account. I’be called every DCF office in my area, i’ve called both hotlines. I’m really exhausted and i cannot move forward in the new state i live in because my medicaid benefits haven’t terminated in Florida. Beyond livid with the system that we are forced to use.
My grandchildren are in DCF custody and my daughter and I have been trying to reach anyone at y'all's office to discuss getting them home but cannot speak to anyone or find out anything.
I have a friend that I have considered a lil sister and lost contact with her for a while til today. She came crying and to inform me that her son and newborn of 2 days have been place in the care of another lady. I would like to know what I would need to do to get temporary or full custody of my niece and nephew? Thank you for your time.
