I visited the office yesterday at the Donald Lee Hollowell location, Been trying to contact my caseworker and her supervisor. I waited 2 hours to see someone and when I did she told me she didn't see where I uploaded my document, I had proof, she gave me a form to drop in the drop box, when I got downstairs I realized it was the wrong form.

I've been trying to get some help for months, they closed my case, I did everything I supposed to. I went to Gateway put in the renewal, I've called up there several times, they don't answer the phone, leave message, I even drove up there, they won't even come to the door so I called while I was outside of the office and they told me that they found their mistake that everything will be taken care of now. I just received the letter stating that my case will be closed the end of the month, I've been calling and calling.

Just to give an updated review, this is definitely the worst office that you could receive benefits from. They don't communicate well at all but will close your account very fast. It doesn't make any sense to have a government agency that is used to help its community and they doing the bare minimum.

THIS OFFICE HAS THE Worst CASEWORKERS WHEN IT COMES TO RETURNING PHONE CALLS ,THIS THE THIRD WEEK I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT MY CASE WORKER, I UPLOADED MY DOCUMENTS AND DID MY REVIEW ONLINE AND ON TIME BUT THAT WAS LAST MONTH. I WAS SENT THE LETTER. ITS RIDICULOUS HOW THESE Workers IGNORE US AND WORK.

I applied for food stamps 3/23/2020 due to me being out of work for COVID-19 symptoms and related issues. Received call for interview on 3/30/2020. My interview letter came on 4/1/2020 after interview date. I was unable to answer my phone when I was called. I have tried calling back for 2 weeks and left numerous messages with no results. I have tried calling the interview number to set up another interview the inbox is always full. Customer service has been great letting me know I have till 4/23/2020 to set up another interview. Luckily I was able to leave a message last week to set up an interview. We will see if someone calls me back or a letter is sent. I have zero money which I thought would have made me eligible for emergency food stamps. I understand DFCS is seeing high demands due to the unforeseen circumstances that the whole world is going through. I’m waiting patently but I better not get a letter that my application was denied due to not making another interview date when I have tried calling everyday and left a message every other day. I BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT MY CASEWORKER AT THIS OFFICE FOR WEEKS ,I LEFT MESSAGES,EMAILS,FOR MY WORKER ,HER SUPERVISOR,& HER SUPERVISOR,NO ONE WILL NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALL,MY TANF CASE WAS SCREWED UP LAST MONTH AT FAIRBURN ROAD BY MY CASEWORKER IN WHICH SHE HAD TO SEND TO THE HELP DESK,AND AFTER THAT SOME HOW MY FOOD STAMPS WENT DOWN FOR NO APPARENT REASON,MY CIRCUMSTANCES STILL THE SAME,NOTHING CHANGE AT ALL ,MY TANF WORKER FORGOT TO GIVE ME MY GRG CHECK AND COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO IT AND WHEN IT WAS DONE MANUALLY,MY WHOLE SITUATION CHANGED.
