DCF Whitinsville MA

yes I have visited this office I have several children in custody of DCF currently and have been fighting to get them back for almost 3 years now when I had first started dealing with them I movedback into my old apartment in which my child's mother had moved out of and abandoned for a couple of weeks I went back to the apartment to try and retain a stable place for my children to live at obtained the properrequirements to keep her away from the home and keep mychildren safeI had a steadyjob and a stableliving condition for my children as well as daycare and doctors to provide my children with the proper care that I needed to have in order to get them back they stillwould not give me my children back due to the fact that their mother was still on the lease to my apartment my landlord refused to remove her name off of the lease upon her agreeing to have it removed in order to get my children back home where they belongin the meantime my landlord also refuse to accept rental assistance in which I needed to inquire to maintain the living situation for me and my childrenwhich is illegal on his part to not comply with state laws on rental assistance due to DCF I lost everything my landlord did not like them coming to my house monthlyto meet with me and make sure that my house maintained a stable cleanliness and I had everything needed for my children to return home I could not get home visits they refuse those they alsodid not make it any easier they refused to give me referrals due to the fact that I had out of state health insurance they could still refer me two programs that they required me to completein order to get my children back but they didn't I would have paid for them cash money if I needed to I did DV classes which they required even though I'm not a violent or domestic person in which I proved in my last courtwith my child's mother in which I obtained the proper documentation to keep her away from the home the police had let her in the house against court orders while I was at work she took a lot of things that did not belong toher now they are gone for good documentation on my children's social security cards birth certificates doctors visits everything had I known this was going to happen I would havemade taken the proper precautions to ensure that all this documentation did not disappear I would have moved its location or locked it in a safe the restraining order statedfrom the court that she is not allowed in the apartment to retrieve any of her personal belongings without my agreement on a time and date she had went to the police station they let her in my apartment addressing my landlord for entry needless to say I lost everything do to dcf and have been homeless for over two years

I totally agree with these people comments! This Whitinville office is horrible! I have written to the director and other people about my complaints. And no call back neither.

The Whitinsville office is horrible As a Grandmother who is currently going for Guardianship of a soon to be 4 year old was once able to have a monthly visit with her now since they are pushing for adoption my visits have been reduced to ignored messages, placed on hold that conveniently gets disconnected after 2minutes when I call? Hmm

This is the worst office I have ever had to deal with... They never call you when the schedule time changes or confirm... it's always guessing game. SB needs a lot to learn about communicating. She has NO compassion for children and siblings ! I really feel bad for the children for the children in her care. They will have a life time of confusion as my grandson's brother will face. I hope some day she goes though what she puts family though. I have contacted someone at the state leave to have this office looked it. She would fit in working for the registry..anyone that's been to the registry, knows what i mean!! THIS OFFICE TEARS FAMILY APART THAT ARE TRYING.

I didn't know they had reviews! ? A few years ago, Stephanie and Joe SAVED my daughter. She was living with her dad and step mother at the time. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'll probably let her leave a review as well. She's happy, grown up, and in college. You are both guardian angels!

Keep up the good work your doing! I do have a question, I am from Sutton, MA and often shop at the Shaw’s in Northbridge and they had signs up to donate homemade blankets for foster kids in town. I think I missed the drop off time for Shaw’s. I was wondering if your office was working with them and if so can I drop some off to you. Thank you in advance
