I need my information and need help getting my own stuff.
I feel like every time I have to communicate/visit the Social Services' office they either misplace or "never receive" the paperwork I mail back to them, I never know WHO my caseworker is because every time I have to fill out paperwork, the name of someone who no longer works there is on it. The secretary who answers the phone is always very "short" with me and barely listens to what I have to say before trying to forward me to someone else. The entire experience is frustrating and seemingly unorganized and out of date, It does not feel welcoming or as if anyone who works there actually WANTS to help you. I do not have any issues with the lovely women who work for the WIC office, they are always as quick & efficient as possible and patient with my child, and typically call back as soon as they receive a message, I only wish they offered more in office hours during the week for scheduling availability.
