Information on Services

CYFS provides crisis services and investigates all child abuse and neglect allegations within Venango County. The agency delivers ongoing case management services to all families open for services, and offers independent living services to qualified youth. CYFS actively recruits and maintains licensed resource families for children when placement is necessary. CYFS provides case management services to conduct home visits, assess the safety of children, and refer children/family to appropriate services within the community while striving to achieve safety and permanency for all children. Many services and programs have been developed in response to community needs.
