What I want to know is how do you allow PARENTS to put their child in a car for visitation when neither of them possess a driver's license? Apparently their case worker is aware of this and has no problem putting the child in a car with parents who can't get a license. How many more chances are you going to give them before they wind up hurting this child? Their case worker just turns her head and ignores the obvious. PORTER COUNTY WAKE UP!

CPS was the worst thing that ever happened to me and my son. First off, he just turned 1 when he was taken from me. My apartment was in horrible condition except for the livingroom where he played. I worked 2 jobs and his dad was home all day. I'm not disputing why he was taken but for the situation I think taking my kid was too extreme. Secondly, I didn't get to see my son for about a month and the foster family gave my son his first haircut. I followed every rule. My son saw every therapist and doctor required. My house was clean at every visit and I was drug free before, during, and after. I was picked apart for his utensil abilities, I was told his behavior changed for the worse after my visit. Probably because he didn't want to go back to the foster home. I was told he had to wear braces on his feet to correct them from turning inward which was not true. In the end I was informed he was in the system too long and would be adopted out. As I said above, I followed every single requirement. The reason behind adopting my son out to strangers? My income wasn't sufficient enough. I had to sign my parental rights over to his paternal grandparents. I had no other option. And can you believe that all of the therapies and foot braces just dissapeared?? No more. It was all over. It was never necessary. I have nightmares of people taking my 2 year old away like with his brother. A stranger knocked on my door and all I could was hide and cry. I get anxious at the mention of CPS. I don't think I will ever get over that ordeal. I was told that everything I did was wrong when it wasn't. I absolutely do not think that CPS has a child's best interest when they intervene. I hate you and I hate the footprint you left in my life.
