Summer Hours:
Monday through Thursday 7:30 to 5:30 and Fridays 8:00 to 12:00 (when summer hours begin and end is determined annually).

The North Dakota Children and Family Services Division is responsible for many programs and services and sets policies and procedures for child welfare services. Most of the state's child welfare services are provided directly through the county social service offices.

County Social Service Offices provide:
Food Stamps
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Heating assistance
Medicaid
Children's health services
Child care assistance
Home and community-based services and supports
Personal care assistance
Child welfare (foster care, child protection services, child care licensing, and related services)
Referrals to other local resources and programs

I have been Calling all day to speak to a Child Protective Case Worker as I do not live in North Dakota but my Step- Daughter's. This is in reference to an open assessment on their Mother. I have not received a single returned call. This mother has had open cases over a several year time frame and your case workers have failed to notify their Father. This has been an ongoing issue for over 9 years.
