Information on Services
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works with communities to protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. It also works to protect the health and safety of children in daycare, as well as foster care and other types of 24-hour care. We do this through investigations, services and referrals, regulation, and prevention programs.

Reviews
This office never answers the phone nor communicates with families. This alone shows how they do no care about the children they are supposed to be protecting. People at this office need to stop only caring about money and looking good to their supervisors. Instead, they need to focus on the children and their families. I have learned that this office is understaffed forcing the people that work here to be overworked leading to poor decisions. A suggestion would be to hire more people who actually care and have morals so children’s lives are actually protected instead of harmed.
