West Eugene DHS Office

I have never had any problems with this office or with reaching a live person at this office. They are always professional and courteous and the office is run efficiently.

This office did not process my paperwork for snap benefits in an efficient way. They had my Midterm review in hand on time did not process that within the month and a half they had it and I lost my food snap benefits.

Its a great office and the staff does what they can. Also their office hours are now until 5pm

I have tried on several different occasions to get ahold of a 'real person' through this offices phone number. I get NOTHING but that phone tree/ loop or whatever it's called. I have applied for food stamps.. took the application paperwork over and turned it in mid- December; have heard NOTHING from anyone??? It's overwhelmingly frustrating! How can I find out whether that application has been processed and how long that processes takes.

I’m in dire need and finally received a phone call about Snap and cash benefits. i lost my job in early November and am down to zero on savings. I was accepted for ebay and the interviewer asked me to come to this West 11th office to pick up a card before the weekend. Unfortunately there were signs on the door saying they only mail them now. i’ve been calling for a couple hours only to get hung up on or sent to a voicemail. I’m hoping someone will call me back miraculously and allow me to pick my card up.

Office visit with applications fine. Called. Me same day then silently did the work. Not sure why I was needed except when call was dropped there must have been something I needed to provide as I still have no benefits. Messages to main branch unanswered. No idea how to reach this worker and tho she has 2 numbers for me she hasn't attempted to reconnect. Guess I need to drive back to Eugene and stand in a line after all.

I made an appointment for food stamps almost a week ago and still no one has called me.
